Everything you need to know — from where to place it and how to make it last longer.

A few small details make a real difference.

  • BEFORE YOU START

    What actually happens when you use a shower fizzy.

    Place the fizzy on your shower floor. Turn on the water. As hot water and steam hit it, it slowly dissolves and releases essential oils into the air around you.


    You breathe them in as you shower. The scent interacts with your nervous system — shifting your mood, easing tension, or sharpening your focus, depending on the formula.


  • Not for the bathtub

    Shower fizzies release scent into the air. They're not designed to dissolve in bathtub water. Keep them on the floor or a ledge.

    One cube per shower

    The regular cube (45g) is designed for one shower. Depending on placement and water pressure, it can stretch to 2–3 sessions.

    Hotter water, stronger scent

    Steam carries the essential oils. The hotter your shower, the more pronounced the scent. If it feels subtle, turn the heat up slightly.

PLACEMENT GUIDE

Three ways to position the shower fizzy

OPTION 01: Shower floor

The most common placement. Set it slightly off-centre, where it'll get splashed occasionally but not hit by the full stream. Dissolves gradually and lasts 2–3 showers.

Recommended for most showers

OPTION 02: On soap dish or shower ledge

Activated by steam rather than direct water. Releases scent more slowly and lasts longer. Good if you prefer a gentler, more sustained experience.


Best for longevity

OPTION 03: Mesh bag near the showerhead

Hang a small mesh bag so water runs through it directly. The strongest, most immediate scent release. Good if you want the full effect from the moment you step in.

How to use your fizzy

  • Step 1: Place it on the floor

    Set the shower fizzy where water can lightly reach it: on the floor, a ledge, or hung on the tap—away from direct water spray.

  • Step 2: Step in and shower

    Turn on the water and shower exactly as you normally would. Water and steam dissolve the fizzy slowly, releasing essential oils into the air.

  • Step 3: Breathe it in

    Immerse yourself in the scent as it fills your shower. Pause, enjoy, and step out feeling renewed and refreshed.

PRO TIPS

Getting more from every use

  • SCENT INTENSITY
    Turn up the heat
    Steam carries the essential oils. The hotter your shower, the more steam, the stronger the scent. If it feels subtle, a slightly hotter shower makes a noticeable difference.

  • MAKING IT LAST
    Move it away from the spray
    Directly under the showerhead dissolves the fizzy in one session. Off to the side or on a ledge, the same cube can last 2–3 showers.

  • IN BETWEEN USES

    Dry storage matters

    If there's fizzy left when you're done, move it somewhere dry. Residual moisture will keep dissolving it even when you're not using it.
